NOTICE OF CLOSE OF VOTER REGISTRATION AND OPTION FOR LATE REGISTRATION FOR
2022 FEDERAL PRIMARY ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that regular* registration for the 2022 Federal Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, closes at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, May 9, 2022.
To register to vote, or to update your name, address, or other voter information, submit a Montana Voter Registration Application to the county elections office (mailing address 512 California Ave., Libby, MT 59923). You may obtain an application by calling the elections office at 406-283-2302, appearing in person at the Lincoln County Election Center, 418 Mineral Ave., Floor B, Libby, MT, or downloading the application online at www.lincolncountymt.us/departments/elections-mt and email to . The application must be signed before being submitted to the election’s office. If mailing, your application must be postmarked by May 9, 2022, and received in the Election Office by 5:00pm on May 12th 2022.
All active and inactive** electors of Lincoln County are entitled to vote at said election.
*NOTE: If you are not presently registered to vote and miss the regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by appearing in person at the Lincoln County Election Center at 418 Mineral Ave., Floor B, Libby, MT, up to and including on election day and complete a Montana Voter Registration Application. AFTER MAY 9, 2022, YOU MUST REGISTER TO VOTE AT THE ELECTION CENTER, 418 MINERAL AVE., FLOOR B, LIBBY MT, IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY REGISTERED TO VOTE IN LINCOLN COUNTY. To check your voter registration status, please go to the My Voter Page on the Montana Secretary of State website: https://app.mt.gov/voterinfo.
**NOTE: Inactive electors may reactivate by completing and submitting a Montana Voter Registration Application, requesting, completing, and submitting an absentee ballot in any election, or by notifying the County Election Administrator in writing of the elector’s current address in the county.
