The Lincoln County Information Technology (IT) Department provides the digital foundation and architecture framework to seamlessly integrate core business systems and services. We provide technical support to all County offices including mission critical areas (911 Dispatch, Detention Center, Justice Divisions) 24 hours/ day, 7 days/week, 52 weeks/year.
We acquire, install and maintain hardware, including desktop computers, laptop computers, printers, tablets and monitors for individual use. We also maintain an extensive system of servers, switches, wiring, videoconferencing hardware and related items that enable professional communication between employees and other entities.
In addition to the hardware mentioned above, we research, acquire, install and maintain a broad range of software, including anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-ransomware, and anti-intrusion systems, office productivity suites, integrated County business systems, various databases that enable better retrieval of information, audio/video retrieval and viewing programs and a host of other programs that allow County employees to more efficiently serve the public.
